Rome: Italian Language, Literature, Art and Film

Summer Session — 2012

Spend your summer immersed in Italian language, art, literature and film with all of Rome right outside your door! With its artistic traditions and cultural vitality, Rome has something to interest every visitor. Explore the city's lively piazzas, winding streets and historic charm while studying Italian language, art, literature and/or film. Students live in the heart of Rome at the Irish College on the edges of Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano, just a few minutes walk from the Colloseum. Accommodations are shared and include an on-site swimming pool, dining facilities and quiet library for studying between your adventures. Meals can be taken on campus or at local restaurants. Included in the program itinerary is an excursion to Dante's home city of Florence.

Open to undergraduate and graduate students, all majors, minimum GPA of 2.50.
