Fall 2020 Courses: Almost All Courses Will Be Delivered in a Remote Format
July 27, 2020
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
I am pleased to report our plans for the delivery of fall 2020 courses. In accordance with CUNY policies and guidelines, our modality will be distance learning. Almost all courses will be delivered in a remote format.
A small number of mostly hybrid courses must be occasionally conducted face-to-face as they are based on experiential learning or require equipment that cannot be obtained in a distance environment. These courses are required to meet the New York State health guidelines and CUNY guidance for reopening under Phase Four. Students should consult CUNYfirst for information about specific course updates.
Announcements and further guidance about the fall semester will continue to be available on the College’s website.
We are preparing for the fall semester and working diligently to ensure the health and safety of our community by making decisions based on the most up-to-date scientific evidence and by implementing rigorous health and safety measures. We will continue to do everything we can to support our students, faculty, and staff.
Sincerely,
Anne Lopes
Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs
