Career Talk With Brooklyn College Alumnus, Business Owner, and Actuary Eugene Schloss

Eugene Schloss, a Brooklyn College alumnus who built his own actuarial and benefits consulting firm, Schloss & Co., discussed his career as an actuary and what it took to establish and run his own company, and answered questions about the actuarial profession and about his personal experiences in the industry.
This event was a joint effort between the Magner Career Center and the Brooklyn College Actuarial Society.

BCAS Welcomes Neil Schwarzenberger (ACAS), Actuarial Analyst and Catastrophe Modeler at Everest Reinsurance

Neil Schwarzenberger is our very own campus liaison for the Casualty Actuarial Society. He works as an actuarial analyst and catastrophe modeler at Everest Reinsurance. Schwarzenberger provided valuable insight into the casualty industry. This interactive information session also discussed the dynamics of the actuarial business world.
