Elisabeth Brauner joined the Psychology Department in 2003. She received her M.A. degree from the University of Oldenburg, completed her Ph.D. (Dr.rer.nat.) at the University of Göttingen, and received the Venia Legendi at Humboldt-University in Berlin. Her research addresses questions in industrial and organizational psychology, social psychology, and group and team research. Brauner's teaching includes industrial/organizational psychology, social psychology, and cultural psychology as well as research methods in industrial/organizational psychology.

Alvin Snadowsky is a professor in the Department of Psychology. He earned his Ph.D. at the University Center & Graduate School, CUNY and his M.A. at the City College (CUNY). His areas of expertise are leadership, group structure, and human relations training in industrial and organizational settings.

Jake Shane joined the Psychology Department in 2015 after completing his Ph.D. in psychology and social behavior at the University of California, Irvine. His research interests revolve around the interaction between opportunity and agency across the lifespan. Ongoing projects that touch on industrial and organizational psychology include: (1) the school-to-work transition, (2) career development, (3) anticipating and responding to retirement, (4) occupational shared agency, and (5) the interface between work and other goal pursuits. Shane's teaching includes developmental psychology as well as industrial and organizational psychology, specifically career development.
Ellen Walker
Lecturer / Adjunct Instructor
Ellen Walker is adjunct faculty instructor in the Psychology Department in the Master's Programs in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. As I/O practitioner, she has extensive internal and external consulting experience focusing on people and organizational development and change. Walker's teaching includes, among other courses, Human Relations Seminar (T-Group), Social Systems Science Seminar (Tavistock conference), Organizational Design, Organizational Development & Consulting, and Interventions.
