Is Human Behavior Predictable?
Speaker: Scott Kravet

Professor Scott Kravet will start this discussion by presenting an argument between John Stuart Mill and John Venn in the 19th century about predicting human behavior. Kravet will then present this issue in the context of the free will versus determinism debate, making it a 21st-century issue, and propose a pragmatic way forward. Refreshments will be served.
