Speaker: Matthew Moore

Since the beginning of the gay rights movement, the phrase "coming out of the closet" has been commonly used to describe an important aspect of the LGBTQ experience. More recently, however, as the queer community has expanded and developed, new forms of visibility (and invisibility) and new ways of thinking about self-disclosure have emerged as well. Professor Matthew Moore will lead this open-ended discussion of the varieties, and the moral implications, of self-disclosure in the LGBTQ community. Refreshments will be served.
