Description
Presentation featuring Waldorf principles applied to young children and play. I will present the different qualities of play, how they relate to modalities of learning and development and display slides of the environment. Time for Q &A at the end.

Meggan Gill, Waldorf School
Meggan first learned about Waldorf education while pursuing a liberal arts undergraduate degree in health sciences at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. She began working in the Early Childhood of the Olympia Waldorf School in 1997.
In 2008 she moved to New York city and completed the Waldorf early childhood teacher education program at Sunbridge Institute. She has taught parent-and-child and kindergarten classes at the Brooklyn Waldorf School since 2009.
