Important Information for Entering Graduate Students
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test is required for a number of our graduate programs. Details are listed in the admissions requirements for graduate programs. Note that entering graduate students in fall 2016 are exempt from the GRE requirement if they enroll in Summer I courses.
Accreditation Visit
Brooklyn College is currently pursuing accreditation of its educator preparation programs by the Association for Advancing Quality Educator Preparation (AAQEP). Pursuant §52.25 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, the educator preparation programs offered by Brooklyn College are considered to be continuously accredited for purposes of meeting the New York State requirement that all such programs maintain continuous accreditation.
