Accreditation
We are pleased to announce that the School of Education met all six National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) standards and was re-accredited until 2017. We are especially pleased that the School of Education met Standard Four: Diversity, at the Target level, the highest NCATE level of recognition. This achievement could not have been accomplished without the support and partnership of many, including our student body, our full- and part-time faculty and staff, our partnering schools and community-based organizations, and our colleagues in the arts and sciences departments with whom we collaborate in the preparation of teachers and other educational professionals.
