About Us
With more than 2,700 students, the School of Education is one of the largest such schools in New York. We offer both undergraduate and graduate programs in early childhood education/art education; childhood, bilingual, and special education; and secondary education, as well as additional graduate programs in school psychology, counseling, and leadership. Through these programs, we prepare the next generation of teachers, administrators, counselors, and school psychologists to work with New York's highly diverse student populations and to create socially just, intellectually vital, aesthetically rich, and compassionate communities that value equity and excellence, access, and rigor.
