Planning Your Visit
Access to buildings, grounds, and offices for visitors, vendors, and contractors will be managed by the respective divisional points of contact, in accordance with CUNY access guidelines.
For visitors above who have a CLEARED4, C-Entry, or White ID Card requirement, you must have both a CLEARED4 access pass and a C-Entry appointment or similar front-desk process (Center for Worker Education/Feirstein) with their specific date, time, and location details in order to access Brooklyn College buildings, grounds, and offices.
Individuals requesting access should contact a divisional point person, who will send a registration link for the CLEARED4 system. Once visitors receive a link to the CLEARED4 system via an on-campus liaison prior to entry, visitors must upload proof of vaccination via that platform in order to access campus.
Divisional Points of Contact
- Academic Affairs
- Enrollment Management
- Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema
- Finance and Administration
- Institutional Advancement
- Student Affairs
In their request for access, individuals should provide the following information directly to divisional point persons for input into the C-Entry system (Brooklyn College main campus) or a similar front-desk process (Center for Worker Education/Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema):
- Visitor, Vendor, Contractor Name (First Name, Last Name)
- Access Date(s)
- Access Reason
- Time In
- Time Out
- Building(s)
- Room Number(s)
- Company Name (if applicable)

- Special Requests (such as if parking is needed)
Divisional point persons will review and verify that submitted documentation supports their access to CUNY and will ensure that the visit is authorized.
If the visitor, vendor, or contractor provides vaccination information and it is accepted, the access pass is currently good for one year from the date of the last injection. (Subject to change.)
Notification
CLEARED4
Once an individual’s information has been verified and access has been granted, they will receive an e-mail and/or text message along with their CLEARED4 access pass. The pass may be printed or displayed on a smart device upon entry. Visitors will be asked to show identification upon arrival to campus.
C-ENTRY/Front Desk
Once a visitor, vendor, or contractor's appointment information has been entered into the C-Entry system or recorded via a similar front-desk process (Center for Worker Education/Feirstein) a confirmation e-mail regarding access should be sent as well.

See COVID-19 Registration and Upload Guide for Visitors, Contractors and Vendors for user instructions on uploading proof of your COVID-19 vaccination or negative PCR test results.
Exception for Visitors Attending Campus Events or Performances (Alternative Vaccination Check)
Visitors attending campus events or performances (category IV above) are no longer required to be entered into CLEARED4 and C-Entry. The Brooklyn College unit or department responsible for the event, performance, or activity must coordinate with Public Safety and conduct an alternative vaccination check. This means that the unit or department holding the event or performance must designate a person at the event or performance who will perform the check to ensure that the every visitor is in compliance with the vaccination policy as described below.
Exception for Short Visits With No Close Contact
Visitors who are on campus for 30 minutes or less per visit do not have to comply with any COVID-19 vaccination or surveillance testing requirements applicable to CUNY staff unless the visitor expects during that time to be less than six feet distant of another person for a total of 15 minutes of more.
Exception for Visitors Under the Age of Five
At present there is no vaccine available to individuals under the age of five. The requirements for these children are as set forth in this document.
Visitors are also required to comply with all other university policies and codes of conduct as well as government and/or campus-specific rules and protocols applicable to individuals on campus that are intended to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes any masking or quarantine requirements.
Failure to comply with these policies will result in the denial of access to the campus.
