Have You Filed for Financial Aid Yet?
The first step to determining your financial aid eligibility is to file your FAFSA and state aid applications.

Review your CUNYfirst To Do List
Check your To Do List on the Student Center page of your CUNYfirst account to see if you have any checklist items to complete for Brooklyn College Financial Aid.
Verification documents and other financial aid forms can now be submitted online via Dynamic Forms.
You may have the option to apply for federal loans.
Many students* have the option to apply for federal loans if their tuition is not fully covered by grants and/or scholarships. Ask your financial aid advisor for more information on federal loan programs.
*Nondegree and international students are not eligible for federal financial aid.

You also have a dedicated financial aid advisor to help with detailed financial aid inquiries, if you are enrolled and have successfully filed a FAFSA. You can find their information and schedule an appointment via BC WebCentral.

Know your payment options
There's no need to visit campus to make a payment. Instead, you can make a quick and easy one-time payment online.
There is no fee for submitting an eCheck payment. A small enrollment fee will be charged, however, if you choose to enroll in a Nelnet Payment Plan to spread out your balance into several installments you pay over the course of the semester.
Be Mindful of Your Payment Due Date
Your due date is based upon your initial registration date. Know your payment due date and make sure your balance is fully covered by this date!
Know the Deadlines for Dropping Classes
If you do not plan on attending courses for an upcoming semester, make sure to drop your classes before the term starts to avoid any liability charges.
