The Brooklyn College Office of Alumni Engagement and the BCAA are committed to protecting your privacy. The following statements outline our policies regarding submissions to this website:
All contact information is for the sole use of the Office of Alumni Engagement and will be kept secure and unpublished unless otherwise instructed. Only the contents of the Class Notes, your name, and your year of graduation will be published, though they may be edited for length.
Personally identifiable information provided through registration forms for mailing or events (e.g., name, e-mail, home address, etc.) will be kept confidential unless otherwise noted by the individual. If, for any reason, the Office of Alumni Engagement or the BCAA believes it would be beneficial to site visitors and alumni to share information with other individuals or organizations, those individuals will be contacted and asked for permission to do so.
Any online financial transaction made on the alumni website, for events or future services, are protected by strict security measures: A secure server hosts files and forms that are used to complete transactions. Personal information is stored in a secure database and any data sent to third parties to complete a transaction are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. To ensure the privacy of contributors, our system does not store credit card information.
