Application Guide
Applications to a master's degree program, advanced certificate program, and non-degree study are managed by the Office of Graduate Admissions. We welcome applications from qualified candidates who hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited domestic or international postsecondary institution.
- All supplemental documents can be uploaded onto the online application before you submit the application. Please do not send any supporting documents before completing the online application. Sending documents before completing the application increases the chances of your documents not being matched to your application. If your application is already submitted, please email remaining supplemental documents to graddocs@brooklyn.cuny.edu.
- You may apply to only one program for a given semester. If your application is denied, then you may be permitted to apply to another program.
- Your recommenders will have the option of either submitting their recommendations online through the application system or by emailing the recommendation to graddocs@brooklyn.cuny.edu. Please make sure to supply your recommenders email address when completing your application if you wish for them to send their recommendation electronically.
- Only complete applications are forwarded to academic departments for review.
- Application documents vary by program. You are advised to review your intended program's requirements.
