Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)
COIL is a SUNY unit that shares its information with everyone. The COIL website offers dozens of examples of how to integrate online learning into your classroom, training workshops, a detailed manual to get you started, and collegial support.
If you are interested in incorporating international learning into your current campus course, we encourage you to explore the COIL resources. Online learning can be for just part of a course or for an entire course. It can create interaction between your students and students or faculty who are abroad. The online learning experience can range from the simple use of Skype, or another face-to-face online program, to the full integration of course content.
