A study abroad application is the first step to learning in a different country.
Study Abroad Application (Notification of Study Abroad Plans)
Congratulations on your choice to study abroad! As you may already know, you may elect to go on any accredited program of your choosing, whether it be through Brooklyn College, other CUNY senior colleges, another U.S. institution, or direct enrollment at a foreign institution. In all cases, you will need to complete the IPSA Notification of Study Abroad Application.
Before completing the application, take the following steps:
- Read Steps to Studying Abroad.
- Review and download Scholarship and Financial Aid information.
- Read the Cancellation and Refund Policy (pdf).
- Gather materials together that you will need to upload as supplementary documentation for your particular program—use the IPSA Checklist (pdf).
Now you are ready to complete the online application. When you have submitted the application, be sure to print off a copy for your own files. If corrections or changes are required after submitting, do not create multiple application requests.
If you have any questions about the application, e-mail us or call us at 718.951.5189. You may also come to 1212 Boylan Hall and complete the online application in our office if you would like additional assistance.
