CUNY IRG 2022 Recipient—Professor Margrethe Horlyck-Romanovsky

Assistant Professor Margrethe Horlyck-Romanovsky of the Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences is the recipient of a 2022 CUNY Interdisciplinary Research Grant (IRG) Program grant for her proposal of a community based participatory Diabetes Prevention Program for Black Caribbean Communities in New York City. Prof. Horlyck-Romanovsky is a public health nutrition professional who is committed to addressing intra-ethnic health disparities among populations of African descent. Prof. Horlyck-Romanovsky shares this grant with fellow CUNY colleague—Professor Ming-Chin Yeh of Hunter College. This grant is for one year and provides $39,826.
