Health and Nutrition Sciences Department Degree Information
The Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences offers a bachelor of arts degree with two concentrations: health science and thanatology as well as a bachelor of science degree with four concentrations: health science, foods and nutrition, public health, and thanatology. The department offers a minor in health and nutrition sciences as well as a minor in thanatology and a concentration for education majors in the following programs: early childhood education teacher (birth-grade 2) and childhood education teacher (grades 1-6).
The Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences (HNSC) also offers a B.S. in Exercise Science with two concentrations: fitness professional and pre-health professions. A minor in exercise science is offered as well.
