Scholarships and Awards for Anthropology Majors
The Department of Anthropology offers scholarships and awards to our undergraduate majors to help support their education, research, and other activities in pursuit of developing their academic careers. These have been generously funded by the Freed Foundation.
Freed Foundation Scholarships
Freed Foundation Scholarships in Anthropology provide aid with tuition to anthropology majors in their junior and senior years. Students do not apply but are selected by faculty based on GPA and need for financial assistance. Up to two of these scholarships are awarded each year, which are announced in the spring toward the end of the academic year.
