Doctoral Programs
The Department of Chemistry offers two master's degrees in chemistry, one for working scientists and one for high-school teachers, as well as doctorate degrees in chemistry and biochemistry.
The Ph.D. programs in chemistry and biochemistry are administered through the CUNY Graduate Center. Our Ph.D. students take classes at the Graduate Center but perform their thesis research with a mentor at Brooklyn College. Each student is offered a full-tuition waiver, health insurance, and a stipend for five years to facilitate his or her thesis research.
