Meier Bernstein Art Library
Located in a beautiful renovated space in the Art Department in 5300 Boylan Hall, the library provides visual resources—art books, periodicals, and digital materials—that may be used for reference, research, writing assignments, course review, current information about the art world, viewing pictures, or pursuing general interests. The library sponsors lectures and studio critiques by guest artists and others from the New York art community. The library is named for the painter who established the Meier Bernstein Foundation for the promotion of fine arts education, from which it receives most of its funding; additional support comes from the faculty and alumni of the college's Art Department.
The library is open on days that classes are in session. We follow the college calendar in regards to holidays and conversion days. During the exam period a new schedule will be posted.
