Brooklyn College Science Day is the culmination of months (and sometimes years) of hard work and effort on the part of students, faculty, high school teachers and program staff. It is also a fun-filled day where students get to show off their work, meet other students who are doing similar kinds of research, and even learn a few new things. It is usually held in the Brooklyn College Student Center from about 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students arrive as early as 9 a.m. to set up their poster. Some students present in groups and others on their own. Once posters are mounted on display boards and visuals are set up on tables, they are evaluated judged by about three judges. After judging, students head upstairs to the dinning room for lunch and a speaker presentation. Then the winners are announced. We encourage you to take a look at our photo galleries of the event from the past several years. We hope to put more images up in the coming months.
