Instrument Usage
Instrument usages by customer with minimum supervision are charged by the number of days or hours. Training and certification are required to operate the instruments. The center will offer free training periodically (e.g., every six months). The rates are:
- ICP-MS—$300 per day or $40 per hour
- TEM—$30 per hour
- XRD—$10 per hour
Annual subscription of instrumental usage is encouraged. Each subscription includes 25 days of priority access to the instrument with minimal supervision. Subscription rates are:
- ICP-MS—$6,000
- TEM—$5,000
- XRD—$1,500
