Elemental Analysis for Aqueous Solutions With DRC ICP-MS
If the analysis is done by the customer with minimal supervision (training and certification are required to operate the ICP-MS), the per-sample charge (up to 10 elements) is $20 for up to 10 samples, and $15 for 11 or more samples. There is a minimum instrument set-up charge of $75, which allows up to three samples with the same method. If concentration range is unknown, an additional $50 is required to screen the sample and make the standards.
If the analysis is done by center staff, the per-sample charge (up to 10 elements) is $30 for up to 10 samples, and $25 for 11 or more samples. A minimum set-up charge and sample screen charge will also apply if necessary.
It is strongly suggested to prepare your samples into <5% nitric acid solutions, free of particulates > 0.45 um, containing <2% organics. TDS is required to be below 0.1% when diluted for ICP-MS determination. General matrix info is strongly desired.
