Friday, April 9
7 p.m., Whitman Theater
Music/dance collaboration concert "Tempus Fugit"
An evening of all original choreography and music compositions based on the wonder of birds. Featuring choreographers Artis Smith, Germaine Salsberg, Alenka Cizmesija, Michael Manswell, Cynthia Salandy, Rhoderick Blasco and Virginie Mecene. Featuring composers Hiromi Abe, Jay Batzner, Camila Cano, Whitney George, Marie Incontrera, David Morneau, Nicholas R. Nelson and Paul Rudy. $5 advance purchase and students; $10 general admission.
Wednesday, April 14
7 p.m., Levenson Hall
Emerging Composers' Concert, "Destruction of Structures, Part 2"
Featuring composers Camila Cano, John Chittum, Whitney George, Alfredo Marin, Nicholas R. Nelson and Michael Weinstein-Rieman.
Thursday April 15
1:30 p.m., 251 Gershwin Hall
Guest lecture by composer Paul Rudy
7 p.m., Levenson Hall
Concert "Electro-Acoustic Music from the American Heartland"
Music by IEAMF featured guest Paul Rudy as well as James Mobberly, Michael McFerron and performances by Madeleine Shapiro (cello), Carter Enyeart (cello) and Carl Bolleia (piano).
