LSAMP-Fellows Program—Sophomore Year
The LSAMP Fellows Program, through a competitive selection process, offers 10 LSAMP fellowships each year. Selected LSAMP-Fellows join a faculty mentor's laboratory to gain research experience during their second year.

Eligibility Requirements
Student must:
- be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident;
- have completed no more than two semesters of college;
- have no more than 30 credits from Brooklyn College at the time of application;
- be a member of a historically underrepresented STEM group, including but not limited to, Native American, African American, Hispanic/Latino and Pacific Islander;
- have completed and passed the LSAMP-Apprentice Program seminar;
- have a minimum GPA of 2.80; and
- provide a brief research summary as part of the online application process.
