El Museo del Barrio Internship
Now accepting applications
Each spring, summer, and fall, El Museo del Barrio offers internship opportunities to promising undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and career changers who are considering careers in the arts, education, nonprofits, and museum profession. Through administrative and project-based internships, interns have opportunities to research, conceptualize, coordinate, execute, and/or evaluate programs and initiatives.
Due to its relatively small size, El Museo del Barrio is able to provide interns with rewarding, valuable, hands-on learning experiences that enable them to directly impact and shape programming, meet and interact with new people, and learn about El Museo's collection and Puerto Rican, Caribbean, and Latin American art and culture. Through its internship program, El Museo del Barrio creates platforms for emerging museum professionals and contributes to diversifying the museum field.
