Course Offerings for Classics Majors
The Classics Department pledges to offer these courses across numerous scheduling grids on a variety of days, in order to better serve our students and allow them to maintain academic momentum towards graduation.
Every Fall Semester
- GRKC 2001, GRKC 3011, one course from the GRKC 4000 level
- LATN 2101, LATN 3111, one course from the LATN 4000 level
- At least one of the following: CLAS 1110, CLAS 2104, CLAS 3209, CLAS 3245
- At least one of the following: CLAS 2109, CLAS 3200
- CLAS 3210
- One course from the following list: CLAS 4010, 4011, 4012, 4020, 4030, 4031, 4032, 4033 (course selection determined by faculty availability and student need)
Every Spring Semester
- GRKC 2002, GRKC 3012, one course from the GRKC 4000 level
- LATN 2102, LATN 3112, one course from the LATN 4000 level
- At least one of the following: CLAS 1110, CLAS 2104, CLAS 3209, CLAS 3245
- At least one of the following: CLAS 2109, CLAS 3200
- CLAS 3210
- One course from the following list: CLAS 4010, 4011, 4012, 4020, 4030, 4031, 4032, 4033 (course selection determined by faculty availability and student need)
At least once every two years, Classics will offer courses from the following list:
- CLAS 3220, CLAS 3221, CLAS 3224, CLAS 3237, CLAS 3238, CLAS 3241, CLAS 3244, CLAS 3246, CLAS 3301, CLAS 3302, CLAS 3303, CLAS 3304
At least once every three years, Classics will offer courses from the following list:
- CLAS 2113, CLAS 2114, CLAS 2117, CLAS 3035, CLAS 3100, CLAS 3101, CLAS 3113, CLAS 3211, CLAS 3222, CLAS 3223, CLAS 3230, CLAS 3231, CLAS 3232, CLAS 3233, CLAS 3234, CLAS 3235, CLAS 3236, CLAS 3239, CLAS 3240
