Fall: Take the foreign language exam. Spring: Register to graduate, take the comprehensive exams, submit thesis title and recital program.

Total Credits: 36

  • Student must see a faculty advisor in music prior to each semester for music registration permissions.
  • Most students complete this program in two to three years, however, coursework and thesis submission may be spread out over up to 5-years.
  • In-state students may wish to take more credits in the first year.
  • Out-of-state students are encouraged to move to New York before classes begin in the first term in order to qualify for New York State residency and in-state tuition for the second year.
