Tom Toriello is an adjunct lecturer of music education. He teaches Basic Concepts in Music Education, Music Education in Secondary Schools, and Jazz Pedagogy. Previously, he was a music teacher and, later, an assistant principal of music supervision at Edward R. Murrow High School. Toriello holds an M.A. in jazz piano performance and a B.A. in music education from NYU. He achieved National Board Certification in Music for Secondary Education.
