Donate to the Children's Studies Center for Research, Policy and Public Service—Working Together Toward Building the Future for Children, Youth, and the Public Good
Your donation to the Children and Youth Studies Program and the Children's Studies Center for Research, Policy and Public Service helps support our mission of advancing areas in research, policy, and public service as they directly relate to promoting change and providing opportunities to improve the lives of children and young people by cultivating a knowledge-based and improved understanding of children among the educated public and in society at large of children's capacities, capabilities, needs, and desires as well as of their civil, political, economic, and cultural human rights.
Our research center has successfully hosted a policy symposium and four well-attended child policy forums for legislators, teachers, students, health, judicial, and law enforcement personnel as well as key stakeholders in the child supervision and administration communities. Recent outcomes include ongoing legislation for an independent Office of the Child Advocate for New York, a U.S. Treaty Report highlighting the "essential role" of the Children's Studies Center, and groundbreaking research initiatives. In addition, Children and Youth Studies provides students with cutting-edge academic programs that provide the benefit of perspectives and insights from varied disciplines as well as research opportunities with authorities in the field, relevant internships, and career counseling.
As we build our research capacities and continue our efforts of working toward building the future for children, youth, and the public good, we look to the public for added financial support.
