Admissions Information for Veterans, Military Personnel, and Their Dependents
This page provides easy access to information about our programs of study, the admissions process, and other resources on campus. The Office of Admissions adheres to the Principles of Excellence Program guidelines outlined in the Presidential Executive Order in the recruitment and admission of veterans and their dependents. In addition, we advise service members to speak with an education services officer or counselor within their military service prior to enrolling at the college.
Admissions counselors are available to assist you with information about our programs, admissions requirements, and the admissions process. To meet with a counselor, come to the Office of Admissions or make a phone or in-person appointment.

Undergraduate Admissions Information
Application Fee Waiver Information
Undergraduate applicants who are veterans of the United States Military Service, currently on active duty, or members of the National Guard or Reserves may obtain an application fee waiver by answering the U.S. Military Status question on the CUNY application and submitting proof of their veteran/military status (e.g., DD-214, Current Military ID Card, or Deployment or Pre-separation orders). Our Office of Financial Aid is committed to assisting veterans in understanding the cost of attendance and navigate the financial process and timeline.
Veteran and Military Programs Office
Brooklyn College's Veteran and Military Programs Office supports veterans and military personnel with many aspects of their college career, from admission to graduation. The services offered include assistance with filing for military benefits, peer mentoring, internships, and referrals on and off campus.
