Co-Curricular Transcript

The co-curricular transcript (CCT) is designed to help you document your engagement in co-curricular activities, such as leadership development, and diversity and multicultural activities, as well as your volunteer and community involvement. Overall, it serves as an official record of your engagement throughout your time at Brooklyn College. You can begin building your co-curricular transcript by logging your involvement in Bulldog Connection.

To add experiences to your co-curricular transcript, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into the Brooklyn College WebCentral Portal.
  2. Select "Student Affairs" on the menu on the left of the screen.
  3. Click on the Bulldog Connection.
  4. Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
  5. Select Experiences.
  6. Click on Add Experiences.
  7. Select the type of experience.
  8. Fill in the sheet.
  9. Submit involvement experience.

CCT Guidelines

  • The co-curricular transcript is for items that are not reflected on your academic transcript, such as:
    • Student organization membership
    • Leadership activities
    • Athletic/Recreational teams
    • Professional and educational development trainings and programs
    • On- and off-campus volunteer opportunities
  • Co-curricular transcript approved items do not include:
    • Individual club-sponsored programs
    • Academic projects or research programs for academic credit
    • Employment or internship opportunities
  • All co-curricular transcript items require verification:
    • All off-campus volunteer opportunities require a verifiable reference (supervisor or point person) from the location hours were completed.
    • All on-campus volunteer opportunities require a verifiable Brooklyn College faculty or staff member.

Important note:  All experiences should be recorded within the semester completed.

Request Your CCT

  1. Log into the Brooklyn College WebCentral Portal.
  2. Select "Student Affairs" on the menu on the left of the screen.
  3. Click on the Bulldog Connection.
  4. Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
  5. Select Co-Curricular Transcript.
  6. Click on "Save."
  7. Print Document.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I use a CCT?

The co-curricular transcript helps document involvement and experiential learning outside of the classroom. Keeping an accurate and comprehensive record provides a major advantage when applying for scholarships, employment, internships, or graduate school.

When is the best time to activate my CCT?

Now! The sooner you activate your CCT, the more thorough and accurate it will be. The longer you wait, the more likely you are to forget an activity that you have participated in. You may add entries at any time.

How can I add experience to my CCT?

First, Log into the Brooklyn College WebCentral Portal and select "Student Affairs" on the menu on the left of the screen. Then, click on the Bulldog Connection. In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, click your name. Select "Experience" and click on "Add Experience." Select type of experience and complete the provided sheet. There is no limit to how many activities you can add. However, only items that are verified will appear on your official CCT.

May I include employment experience on my CCT?

No. Any employment experiences or any paid activities (such as a paid internship or work-study) should be documented on your résumé.

May I include off-campus activities on my CCT?

Yes. However, you must provide a verifiable reference (supervisor or point person) so that your involvement can be verified by a CCT administrator.

How are my activities verified?

A CCT administrator will contact the reference provided. Be sure to include all contact information for your reference to facilitate the verification process. Otherwise, your involvement may not be verified.

May I make changes to my CCT?

You may make changes to an entry on your CCT any time before it has been verified. If your experience has been verified, you must contact a CCT administrator to make additional changes.

Is there a cost for an official copy of my CCT?

Your official CCT is provided to you at no cost. You are able to print a pdf version from Bulldog Connection.

How long will it take for my experience to be verified?

Allow seven to 10 business days for your entry to be verified.

How long is my CCT kept after I leave Brooklyn College?

You will have access to submit entries up to one year after graduation. After one year, you may request copies, but no further changes can be made.
