Professional Development and Learning Management Office (PDLM)
The Professional Development and Learning Management (PDLM) Office manages training and professional development opportunities designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of CUNY employees. College and Central Office employees in various positions can benefit from professional development and training sessions that present progressive and innovative workplace effectiveness tools created by some of the most celebrated thinkers in the workplace learning field.

Due to the current coronavirus crisis, all in-person professional development courses have been cancelled until further notice.
Certificate Programs
The Office of PDLM offers four specific skill enhancement certificate programs to CUNY employees. Participants must complete three core courses and two elective courses within a two-year period. For more information, click on the applicable flyer below.
- Administrative Professionals (CAP) (pdf)

Cost
- $ 90 per day of training
- $15 per half-day desktop technology courses and $25 if two half-day sessions are taken on the same day
- No-show Fees (see note)
Note: If you are unable to attend a course, notify the Office of HRS at least 10 business days before the course starts to avoid being charged a no-show fee.
Registration
To register for courses, employees should:
- Complete the online PDLM Application.
- Print the application, then click the "Submit" button at the bottom.
- Obtain your supervisor's signature and e-mail the application to Patrick Croff, or deliver it to 1219 Boylan Hall.
Applications must reach the PDLM Office at least 15 business days before the course starts to prevent course cancellation.
