How do I claim my Brooklyn College WebCentral and CUNYfirst accounts?
- Go to BrooklynCollege WebCentral, then click "New Users."

How do I pay my tuition bill?
- Log into CUNY.edu, select "Self-Service," select "Student Center," under "Finances" section, click "Account Inquiry," click "Make a Payment."
- For tuition policies and procedures, contact the Office of the Bursar, 220 West Quad Center, call 718.951.5200 or send an e-mail.
No, seriously, how do I pay for my tuition or other expenses? I can't afford it.
All Brooklyn College students who file a FAFSA and are enrolled in courses are assigned a financial aid advisor. Appointments are available in person and by phone.

I have a Brooklyn College e-mail account? Do I really have to check it?
Yes. E-mail is the college's primary method of communicating with you. You must check your Brooklyn College e-mail on a regular basis! Log in via Brooklyn College WebCentral, under the "My Info" tab.
- You automatically receive a Brooklyn College e-mail account, but you can update your contact information, via BC WebCentral. Regardless, you still must check your Brooklyn College e-mail, as Financial Aid and other offices will only contact you at this address!
- Your personal e-mail account should be professional and consist of your name (e.g., firstnamelastname1@gmail.com).
What about the required immunizations forms?
New students who do not complete their immunization documents will automatically be dropped from their fall classes. Don't let this happen to you! You must submit your completed Student Immunization Form (pdf) and Meningococcal Meningitis Response Form (pdf) to the Health Programs/Immunization Office in 0710 James Hall. You can send it via e-mail or fax it to 718.951.4278.
Where can I get my books for my classes?
Rather than a brick and mortar store, we have a convenient online bookstore. Also, many required textbooks can be found in our library.
I'm struggling academically and need support ASAP! Who should I talk to?
Make an appointment with your instructor during his or her office hours to ask questions and discuss your academic progress. Check your syllabus or ask your instructor for more information.
- The Learning Center in 1300 Boylan Hall offers free tutoring for all students and provides specialized support in writing and subjects across the curriculum. The center also provides midterm and final exam reviews. Call 718.951.5821 or send an e-mail.
- The Center for Academic Advisement and Student Success (CAASS) is there for all your registration and advisement needs! Talk to an advisor in 3215 Boylan Hall if you have questions about your schedule, academic requirements, and how to add/drop or withdrawal from a class. Make a CAAT appointment through WebCentral, call 718.951.5471, or send an e-mail.
- The library also provides writing and research support, and it has a vast collection of material, CUNY-wide, at your disposal.
- The Office of Personal Counseling offers regular free workshops on topics such as time management, text anxiety, study skills, and stress management. The office also offers one-on-one and group counseling. Call 718.951.5363 or send an e-mail.
I have AP credit! How do I know if it was accepted?
If you have any transfer credit, you must have it submitted to the Transfer Evaluations Office. Visit 306 West Quad Center, call 718.951.5263, or send an e-mail to inquire about AP exam scores or other transfer credit.
Meet with a CAASS advisor to discuss how your incoming transfer credit may affect your Pathway requirements. Make an appointment via WebCentral or visit 3215 Boylan Hall during walk-in hours.
Can I still get a tour of the campus?

Yes! The Magner Career Center can help! The center offers "finding your major" workshops and assessment tests to help you make the right decision. The center can also help with résumé building, finding internships, preparing for job interviews, connecting with alumni, and so much more! Visit 1303 James Hall or call 718.951.5696.
If you know the department you think you want to major in, carefully review the program's requirements in the Bulletin. Then visit the department and/or make an appointment to speak with the department advisor. Come prepared with questions!
I'm not feeling well physically. My personal life is negatively impacting my academic life. What should I do?
- The Brooklyn College Health Clinic can help with nearly all of your physical health needs, from the common cold, to STD screenings, to vaccinations, to nutrition workshops. Best of all, many of the services are completely free. Visit 114 Roosevelt Hall or call 718.951.5580.
