Jennifer Ball is an art professor at Brooklyn College who researches early Christian and Byzantine art with a focus on portrait representation, dress and textiles.
She is a frequent lecturer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and has held fellowships there as well as at Princeton University. She received the 2016-17 Claire Tow Distinguished Teacher Award.
