It’s been a good year at Brooklyn College. From celebrated scholars to celebrations of our diversity and to the long-awaited opening of the Leonard and Claire Tow Center for the Performing Arts, it was one for the record books. Take a look at some of this year’s highlights.

Brooklyn College takes part in April’s National School Walkout Day to demand action on gun control.

'I wanted to transform the whole system,' Lilia Melani said in the Woody Tanger Auditorium during remarks at the commemoration of 'The Women in the Archives,' exhibit in the Brooklyn College library. The exhibit highlighted activism on campus by or about Brooklyn College alumna.

This year the Brooklyn College Sustainability Council partnered with the Corbin Hill Food Project to bring a farm share to campus.
