Be Prepared
Brooklyn College has developed comprehensive emergency plans, guides and procedures. Of course, these preparedness plans will be greatly enhanced by a knowledgeable community. We highly recommend that all members of the college community familiarize themselves with our plans and guides so that everyone will be prepared should an emergency arise.

Class Cancellation
Severe weather conditions, power outages and other emergencies may necessitate the cancellation of classes and campus events. To find out the status of the campus, check the college website or the portal. You may also call 718.951.5444 or 5445, or listen to the following radio stations:
