Student Learning Outcomes
- Create a body of work with form and content that is in dialogue with contemporary art practice.
- Create artwork that demonstrates attention to detail, technical mastery, and a pride of authorship related to the media in which the artist is working.
- Demonstrates, through their presentations and writing, that they are aware of contemporary art and relevant historical precedents.
- Understand the necessary skills needed to setup a professional practice in art making, including how to organize their studio, look for opportunities to exhibit their work and exhibit their own work.
- Ability to articulate creative practice including the paucity to lead or teach peer and beginning artists.
