Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Programs
The vast array of subjects in which you can major in our School of Humanities and Social Sciences is supplemented by seven interdisciplinary programs that incorporate courses from various departments. For example, in our American studies program, you’ll take five courses in that field, but you'll also have the opportunity to select classes in English, film, history, television and radio, and women's and gender studies, among others. By employing the research and methodology of more than one discipline, these special programs allow you to become adept an integrating knowledge and perspectives of different sources to better understand complex issues and problems.
