†The Pathways curriculum is typically 42 credits. However, the Exercise Science (Pre-Health Professions) major includes four courses (BIOL 1001, CHEM 1100, CHEM 2100, and PHYS 1100) that also satisfy Pathways requirements. Therefore, students majoring in Exercise Science (Pre-Health Professions) only need to complete 30 additional Pathways credits.
The Exercise Science Pre-Health Professions Track is designed for students who intend to enroll in programs to become Health Related Professionals such as Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physicians Assistants.
Students must earn a C or higher in both KINS 3281 and KINS 3285 to continue to KINS 3295, KINS 4200W, KINS 4760.
The four-year degree map is designed to help you take the right courses in the right order so you can graduate in four years. It also helps you distinguish what courses qualify as Pathways courses, or Major courses, or General Elective courses. Ideally, you should follow the four-year degree map as closely as possible, but you are free to make some adjustments so long as the prerequisite requirements are satisfied.
In conjunction with the four-year degree map, you should review Degree Works, and the Brooklyn College website, for an approved list of courses in your major. Overall, it is best to review your academic plan with your advisor on a regular basis.
