As a part of its mission to contribute to the literature, GLARE faculty is engaged in ongoing research of several key LGBTQ issues in education, including:
- LGBTQ bias and discrimination
- Sexism, heterosexism and the construction of gender
- The intersection of human sexuality and multiple identities
- LGBTQ issues for urban youth
- The use of affective education in preparing future teachers and school professionals for inclusive practice in schools.
