Andrew Meyer has a BA in East Asian Studies from Brown University and a Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Civilization from Harvard University. He spent four years living, studying, and teaching in mainland China and Taiwan and one year in Japan. He is the co-author of The Huainanzi: A Guide to the Theory and Practice of Government in Early Han China and the author of The Dao of the Military: Liu An's Art of War.
